Oct 26, 2004· Use the crown angle formula to work out the pavilion angle, plugging in culet rather than table (still works if you plug in 0 if the stone has no culet). eg. With Carolyn's stone, (pav 43%, culet 0.9%) ignoring the culet gives a pav angle of 40.7. Taking the culet into account, the pav is 40.95.
